Jomblo

Hanung is one of my favorite Movie Director in Indonesia, first time i see his movie is “Catatan Akhir Sekolah”, i’m shock how he create the opening act of this movie in one take shot. I’m a little bit pesimistic the first time i heard it, but when i see the opening act, wow is really good. But sorry we’re not gonna talk about that movie right now, i’m gonna write about his latest movie i’ve seen, “Jomblo.

This movie is based on one of popular novel write by Adithya Mulya. “Jomblo” in english mean a man/women that currently available or doesn’t have a boyfriend/girlfriend. This movie tell us about a friendship of 4 college student in Bandung (one of greatest city in west java, Indonesia) that doesn’t have a girlfriend for a different reason. Every character in this movie have really different personality, i still can’t see how their friendship could last for a couple of year.

On of the character is also played as the narrator, a new comer Ringgo Agus Rahman played this character very well. Sometimes the narator played with the timeline to help the story more alive and funny.

There is a lot of funny scenes in this movie, that could(or even already had) happen to anyone of us. So don’t be suprised after you watched this movie with your friend one of your friend say “Hey, they just like us” huahuauauah =))

Just Like Heaven

Last night is the second time i watch this movie . Even though i still have a bunch of movie that still i haven’t see(including 7 DVD of DivX Movie i just brought from Jakarta), I feel that i should see this movie again. If you know what my kind of movie, you should understand huehuehue.

Generally the whole movie is entertaining,  it got drama, romance and comedy, if you looking for action don’t watch this movie . If you already seen 13 Going 30, i think Mark Ruffalo Character in this movie as David Abbot in personality is not much a different with Matt Flamhaff in 13 Going 30. In other way if Matt Flamhaff have to dealt with the same problem as David Abbot, i think he would react like David.

Basically this movie is a love story that will never happen in real life, so if you like fantasy love story (like me .. heuheuhuehe) you should watch this movie, is very reccomended by me .
